Lachen om het circus
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart:
"We begin tonight on the campaign trail, where Senator John Kerry, the newly crowned Democratic nominee, is enjoying one of the elite privileges of American democracy: being followed around by camera crews wherever he goes, regardless of news value."
"Of course, it is still eight months to election day, but the campaign is starting to fall into its own natural rhythm: falsely macho Kerry comment, falsely indignant Bush response."

Late Night with Conan O'Brien:
"John Kerry is hoping to raise $80 million before the Democratic convention. Kerry has two ways to raise the $80 million: solicit Democratic donors ... and going through his wife's purse."

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno:
"John Kerry says that he wants to debate President Bush once a month until the election. This could be a risky move for Senator Kerry. If Bush doesn't show up for the debates, John Kerry may end up debating an empty chair. And that could be pretty much a toss up as to which one has the better personality. It can go either way."
